Michele Parrotta - Partner
An attorney in West Hartford, Connecticut, Michele Parrotta concentrates on areas including residential and commercial real estate, construction and property management, and general business matters. In addition to her private practice responsibilities, Michele Parrotta serves as Special Counsel with Rocky Hill-based Parrotta Construction and Management.
Ms. Parrotta earned her B.A. in Government & Finance at Simmons College in Boston, subsequently pursuing a Juris Doctor at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York. During her time in law school, she held responsibilities on the Board of Editors of the International Property Investment Journal. From 1983 to 1991, Michele Parrotta practiced as a Principal with Levy & Droney, P.C., in Farmington, Connecticut.
In her current role as an attorney, Michele Parrotta focuses on the representation of commercial real estate property owners and lending institutions in a diversity of domestic transactions. Her experience in commercial leasing matters is extensive and includes ground and space leases. She also has knowledge of tax-related issues, such as property valuation and property assessment.

In facilitating construction projects and property management arrangements, Ms. Parrotta focuses on meeting client and developer goals. Procuring financing and negotiating agreements for purchase, she works with clients throughout the entire process, from document preparation through closing and matters thereafter.
Ms. Parrotta also has a substantial residential real estate practice, including properties in New York and Connecticut. As an attorney, she notably represented Blue Back Square, LLC, in its recent sale of the West Hartford condominiums. She maintains professional affiliation with the Connecticut Bar Association’s Real Property Section and the Connecticut Women’s Council.

Douglas N. Firtel - Partner
A Connecticut native, he is an attorney licensed in the State of Connecticut and has been practicing law since 1991. He received his undergraduate degree from The George Washington University and graduated Emory University School of Law in 1991. He moved back to Connecticut after law school to begin his career and raise his family. He worked in several traditional law firms as an associate and then partner before starting Closing Management, LLC.

Having spent most of his career concentrating on real estate transactions, he created Closing Management, LLC with the vision of offering lenders, consumers and real estate professionals a one stop shop for all of their closing needs. Seeing the need for a real estate title and closing practice offering specialized services to its clients, Closing Management, LLC has been an industry leader since it was formed in 2000.
